2024
The GCSE and A Level results of 2024 marked another superb year for The Boswells School and Sixth Form.
At GCSE 76% of all students achieved a ‘good pass’ (Grade 4+) in English (either Language or Literature or both) and 74% of students achieved a good pass in Mathematics. These measures are significantly above the national averages for these subject areas, as was the percentage of students achieving a ‘strong pass (Grade 5+). We are also delighted that a number of students achieved Grade 9 in both of these subjects.

At A Level, 23% of grades were awarded were A*-A, with 62% A*-B and 90% A*-C, all of which are significantly above national averages. In addition the average grade awarded for Level 3 qualifications such as BTEC and CTEC was a Distinction *. Students within the cohort that chose to apply to universities secured their places, including applicants to Oxbridge.
